The three Partners of Beyond Either Or are certified Integral Master Coaches and Integral Facilitators, capable of designing and delivering customized individual / group coaching and facilitation programs to suit your organization’s unique needs, whether local or global.

We have engaged more than fifty Integral Master Coaches in global pro-bono projects, and handpick trusted coaches primarily from this pool to meet client needs for larger initiatives. We are also able to contract additional highly-skilled facilitators should the need arise.
We have experience in organisational development in organisations engaged in social and environmental justice, government and business.
We do this work because we care. We feel deep respect for the people who are at the forefront of changing this world. We want to be of service by helping them create a more joyful, sustainable and impactful way of living and working.
Magda Hoekman, Netherlands

I love to work with purpose-driven leaders helping them work with the unpredictable. I support them in being adaptive and, at the same time, stay focused on outcome.
My belief is that you can change systems when as leaders you are willing to transform yourself. During COVID-19, I facilitated executive teams in rapidly adjusting the “what”, “how,” and even “why” of their organisations while simultaneously supporting leaders to develop the necessary capabilities. In the last three years, I also assisted schools to implement a more agile way of working and create a more even playing field for all students.
Working in personal development for many years and as a social activist/feminist, I learnt that we are more equipped to create a just and sustainable world when we dare to develop our potential. I get inspired working with courageous leaders who see beyond short-term returns-on-investment and embrace their purpose.
I mostly work online and occasionally face-to-face with leaders and teams in non-governmental organizations, companies and governments worldwide. I hold an MA in Government Policy and Management from the University of Amsterdam, and an MA in International Development from Erasmus University. I am trained in Deep Democracy, Theory U, and Non-Violent Communication.
Renée Ryerson, Norway

I work with courageous leaders around the globe who are making a difference through their work. I am passionate about coaching and the interpersonal practice of Circling.
I am inspired to work with people who are willing to step into leadership with increased love, attunement, daringness and creativity. My clients are able to achieve more through new ways of relating to what is arising around them. The world needs us to be bold in offering our gifts. Every day I am discovering the places in me where I am proud to be living more like this and also see areas where I could do more. When I engage with my clients, I learn so much about what it is to be and do “human-being-ness”. I am humbled and grateful that I get to do this work.
I have been in leadership roles in communities since 2009. I have been professionally working as a coach and facilitator since 2013. I am a Co-founder and Steering Committee member of 57Coaches.org, an initiative spread across five continents providing coaching to innovative leaders exploring new ways of interacting and living.
I have a BFA from Parsons School of Design, part of the New School for Social Research in New York City. Also, I am a Circling Facilitator and Circling Coach.
Sunil Singh, Norway

I am passionate about helping individuals, teams, and organizations achieve their goals in innovative and unexpected ways. As we continue to grow and develop, both as individuals and as teams, I believe that we can not only achieve personal and organizational goals but also navigate collective challenges such as climate change and find meaningful ways to serve others – and express our humanity in an AI-powered world.
In the past, my focus was on achieving my own goals and impressing others. However, my mindset has shifted towards the power of collaboration and the positive ripple effects that come from working together. I am dedicated to exploring how trust, mindfulness, exercise, and nutrition can help us show up with more joy, energy, clarity, and effectiveness in our work and relationships.
I have over two decades of experience in a major telecoms company, where I have spent over ten years working closely with executives, first as a Strategy Director and currently as a Director of Transformation. Alongside my corporate experience, I am an Integral Master Coach, certified Integral Facilitator, and Barret Values Centre Certified Consultant. I have also co-founded and co-led the European Consortium of Integral Coaches and 57 Coaches, where we provided pro-bono responses to the 2015 European migrant crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through my analytical, listening and facilitation skills, I help bring clarity to the problem to be solved, identify the most important dimensions for attention, and find a holistic path forward. The path forward is based on current capabilities and a realistic view as to how the individuals, team or organization could develop to achieve its goals.
My academic background includes an MBA and MBI (Master of Informatics) from Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus University), as well as Master’s degrees in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, Université de Technologie de Compiègne, and Cranfield University.
What people say about us
Renee and Sunil are examples of how potent leadership can be when you follow your heart. I had the honour of serving with them in the leadership of 57Coaches, a network of Integral Master Coaches committed to donate coaching services where it’s most needed on the planet. They ignited the network with their proposition to support those on the front lines of service of Syrian refugees. They were unwavering in being true to their vision. The commitment, creativity and skill they bring to what they carry in their hearts is exceptional. Directly arising from their ability to “catch the wave” of what’s needed in the world, is grace. It has been and continues to be not only a joy to work with them, but also astonishingly easy and nurturing. I’m delighted that they are sharing their leadership approach with the rest of us. Thank you, Renée and Sunil, for your world-centric leadership.
Anne Wright, Change Artistry
Magda is an excellent coach, facilitator, and organizational development, expert. I had an opportunity to work with her and her coaching approach allowed me to understand myself better as a leader and enabled me to develop self-awareness to lead others more effectively. I also learned from Magda that how I respond in stressful situations as a leader is just as important as how I respond in ideal situations. She offers a practical approach and thoughtful solutions to challenging issues, and I will always take with me the skills that I learned from her. As a facilitator, she creates a learning space that is inclusive. She can recognize the different dynamics in the room (including power, gender, and racial dynamics) and has the ability to create containers that make it safe for all staff to speak up and others to listen and reflect. As an organizational development expert, she helped my organization identify some of the polarities that get in the way of organizational effectiveness and helped us find a good balance (not either/or) while continuing to focus on our mission. I will definitely work with Magda again and I highly recommend her.
Tes de Leon-Connors Global Director of HROD, 350.org
Renée prompted me with questions about who I was and what I wanted to work on. After crafting my coaching topic together, Renée expertly guided me through personalized practice sets monthly, to help me develop and grow into my new role. Our work together made me feel confident quickly at the new organization, and our practices will always stay with me.
Stephanie Armstrong, Director of Talent & Growth, New Politics Leadership Academy
Renée is an amazing coach and facilitator. Her insightful analysis of my coaching topic and her strong accuracy contributed greatly to my personal and professional life. She could see things that I didn’t. As a facilitator, her strong awareness of herself, the space and group she is facilitating creates a safe and productive container that gets the best out of the session. I would not hesitate to recommend Renée.

Renée saw me and my topic in a bigger picture and understood exactly what I needed with a deeper and broader perspective than I could actually express to her verbally. The series of practices were so good, so specific and so subtle that they gave me an integration of my issues in relation to the topic in a way that seems to have profoundly and fundamentally changed me and my ways for the absolute better… I feel transformed.

My heart lights up when I go to a circle that’s facilitated by Renée. She’s genuine, honest, and open, and always willing to explore what’s at the boundaries of her own knowledge. As a facilitator she’s lively and generous. I’ve often had shifts as a result of her questions. I like how Renée blends structure with an intuitive knowing, and this brings a sense of holism to any circle she facilitates. I like her welcoming of the transpersonal. I leave her circles feeling energised, curious, and spacious.
Josh Brostoff
Renée, I appreciate you and your facilitation- working with you gives me the safe space I need to explore myself in connection with others. As I mentioned, I appreciate how stable you are, and when with you, it just feels that there’s a “grown-up” in the room, And a Caring one, at that… This combination of both presence & care, tend to really bring out the best in me.
